I am a native Oklahoman an a life long learner with over 14 years of higher education from the following institutions: Tulsa Community College, Bacone College, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Langston University, and currently a doctoral candidate at California Southern University. After graduating with a master’s in rehabilitation counseling in 2012, and working towards clinical experience I became a Licensed Professional Counselor and later a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor allowing me to supervise new counselors, counselors in training and undergrads. To date I have headed 4 counseling departments (Mental Health Court, School Based Services, Crisis Response, & Teen Drug & Alcohol) serving in a variety of settings including Community Based, Jails, Hospital, Private Practice, Group Practice, & Substance Use, while also supervising 11 counseling interns and leading two clinical auditing departments. I also perform speaking engagements on a national circuit and have spent over 12 years working with individuals from diverse backgrounds in mental health, rehabilitation, addiction, humanitarian and social issues, with a commitment of services to all, while also dedicating the last three years to tutelage, assisting other clinicians in building their individual practices.

I am involved in numerous organizations including Oklahoma Rehabilitation Counseling Association, Oklahoma Counseling Association, Counselors for Social Justice and Certified Forensic Counseling Association. I come with training in Play Therapy, Oklahoma Forensics Training, Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Oklahoma Mental Health Court, Mental Health First Aid, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidalilty (CAMS), Person Centered Therapy (PCT) and……Solution Brief Focused Therapy (SFBT). With a surplus of tools under my belt and over 12,000 hours of face to face clinical training (3,000 in suicidality) I’m more than equipped and well-rounded to provide premiere services to children, adolescents, and adults.

I enjoy working with individuals on various walks of life. Conditions of expertise are depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, self-worth, anger, impulsivity, co-dependence, couple-marital issues, family relational issues, ADHD -attention problems and multi-cultural issues. Needless to say, I simply enjoy being of service to all.
